Finally, day-the-apartment-office-is-open-late! It's my favorite holiday! Especially since yesterday, I got in at 5:30 and they'd already closed up. Bastards. My haul, from before I imposed the online-shopping-yes-that-includes-Ebay moratorium on me, consists of two doujinshi, the first Hellsing soundtrack, the first volume of Fruits Basket, and the third volume of Rurouni Kenshin.
Aoshi's first appearance sent me into peals of unkind laughter. Bless his heart. Somebody needs to take away his eyeshadow. And his hair gel. I was missing out on so much by not getting the early manga volumes before! The doujinshi consisted of one Wolfwood/Millie book which is almost not porn, and which, like every Wolfwood/Millie fic ever conceived, is set during episode 23, and one incomprehensible FF6 book - I mean, there are characters in there I can't even recognize. I get the distinct impression it's part of an ongoing series with OCs. The Hellsing soundtrack... um. "Smiling Rebellious Flower"? Isn't that a .hack keyword? No, I'm serious. Isn't it? "A left foot trapped in a sensual seduction" isn't, though I suppose it might be a Dali painting. "Abiguous drum's grief"? O_o Meanwhile, back at the ranch, Fruits Basket is tremendously cute, as expected, because, y'know, Fruits Basket. That's what it's there for. May take me a bit of time to adapt to the manga-style art, but I like it.
