Breaking news - video games are still teh_evil. (emphasis added because that right there is one of the stupidest things I've ever read) - God, I KNOW. The Final Fantasy games have been forcing Pringles down my throat for a decade now despite all my attempts to resist. Perhaps I should sue. It seems patently obvious there'd be a correlation between liking a sedentary hobby that enables snack food abuse and gaining weight, but what a way to phrase it... Not touching the "violent games take over your brain" issue, since I like to believe everyone who's ever touched a controller and many reasonable people who haven't understand it's more complicated than that. Occasionally I locate these little pockets of optimism in me.

Speaking of sedentary lifestyles and gaining weight, I am at work and there is cake. We actually had it yesterday - the main thing that salvaged the day - as a going-away thing for Trina, who's leaving our shift and will soon be making more money than us. We're going to miss her anyway. The cake is hers, but she left the remainder here, and it's just sitting by the stapler enclave, taunting me...
