I tried to watch Gravitation. Oh my holy God the shrieking. The fangirls. The sparkly pinkness. It hurt me all over. Again, more later, but one thought - Shuichi's all "I need to find a woman" at the beginning, and then "wait, I'm attracted to a guy?" like it's a shock. At the concert, he's wearing a crop top, hot pants, and a full-length yellow coat. Yeah. That outfit just screams "I'm a heterosexual man!!" Granted, most of the gay men I know tend to wear khakis a lot, but still...

I suck at taking pictures of cosplayers. I just don't do it. So you'll have to take my word for it that I saw a full FF6 party (Locke, Celes, Terra, and Mog) a Flik, a very good Geddoe, a Wolfwood carrying a star of David rather than a cross, way too many Clouds and Sephiroths (mostly very well done, there were just too many of them), WAY WAY WAY TOO MANY people begging for hugs (what is up with that? you east coast people are freaks!) a large Lodoss party, and a Kefka who for some reason was wearing a sign saying "zombie." Maybe it was a LARP thing? Oh, and two different women playing Mama from Kodocha. One had an entire Star Wars diorama on her head.
Got me a Vash action figure! And a combination of blisters and muscle soreness that had me limping through the airports today. And, now that I'm home, a really pissy cat.
