Waiting sucks, and I'm not the one stuck in an airport. See, flurf was coming out here to the nation's armpit an undisclosed location for a four-day visit, and his flight left at five his time, until they were told there was a mechanical failure on the plane, and they were bringing in a replacement, and the flight was getting delayed to about 10 local time. This would be workable if he were just heading to Denver, but he wasn't, and he'd be missing his connecting flight by hours. End result is he'll be flying through Chicago - not as nonsensical as when Orbitz tried to send me to LA by way of Detroit, but close - and then getting in here at 10 a.m. tomorrow instead and spending godawful amounts of time hanging around airports.
