Did you know eggs can freeze solid? Like, in the shell? I had no idea I was running the fridge THAT cold...

Finished watching Shamanic Princess, which I've been slogging through all week. I saw the first four episodes years ago and remembered them being much cooler. Then I saw the last two for the first time, and they actually were rather cool... It's kind of weird, though. Kagetsu looks virtually identical to what's-his-face... Tsukumo? From Nadesico, the *SPOILER* guy who falls in love with Minato, only to *SPOILER.* Actually I'm not going to post the spoilers, because I'm too lazy. And Lena's resemblance to Sylphiel is even more striking.

In Azumanga Daioh, during the three-legged race in the second volume (with Chiyo-chan and Osaka falling on their faces repeatedly), the background music is "Camptown Racetrack." That settles it. If I ever have a firstborn, which is unlikely but theoretically possible, the creators of this series get it. If I don't have a firstborn maybe I'll give them my cat sometime when he's trying to eat my leg. It'd be kind of appropriate, really.

And I saw a trailer for Slayers Premium. So.... there are OVAs involving not-Naga. I mean, I saw Gourry and Amelia, and I didn't see Naga. I also didn't see Zel, but I can live without him far easier than I can live with Naga. God I hate Naga. As for this Premium thing.... first of all, MUST HAVE. Also, are there any others?

...was Slayers Premium the one with the octopus curse? Because there was a short Slayers movie that had the TV show cast, and a lot of octopi, but it was also rather bad. ^^;

It was? Damn. There were a lot of octopi around. Is it worth a rental, at least?

Eh, I'm not sure. If you haven't seen the TV series in a bit and miss the Slayers cast, it _might_ be worth it for the "Yaay it's the people from the show again" factor. But other than that... not unless you have some 2-for-1 deal and can't come up with something else to rent, I wouldn't bother. I'll see if a friend of mine has the fansub, if you like.

I just use mail rentals at the moment, but it sounds like it doesn't deserve to be very high up on the list. Certainly not above the ending of Utena.
