I had a very strange dream about Snape selling off Death Eater merchandise on Ebay to help fund his new life as a good guy. Um, what? I don't even like Harry Potter, wtf?
I haven't been posting all week because... no good reason, exactly. At work I read hurricane news, I come home and accomplish nothing productive - it's been naps, random internet reading and a reread of Night Watch (the one by Pratchett, not Sean Stewart - though I doubt Sean Stewart is the name most people associate with that title.) I haven't had much heart for politics and beyond "this is horrible, oh my God" I have little to say about the hurricane aftermath, and everyone else has already said that... not that it normally stops me, but when I'm tired, it does.
I'll just post the Onion's coverage and move on. I especially liked the "'Please, God, not Houston. Anyplace but Houston,' said one woman, taking shelter under an overpass." Partly because hating Houston is funny in its own right, and partly because in a Slate article about people still refusing to evacuate, one man was quoted saying he'd rather get tetanus than go to Houston.
