Sep. 6th, 2011 10:05 pmSo the husband's usual bedtime is about 10:30 at the latest. At 11:45 Sunday night he poked his head into my computer room and said "I'm just not getting any sleep tonight."
"So you're going to watch the end of the series?"
"I already did," he said. "It's looped around to the first season again."
We ended up watching the first two episodes before he went to bed at one in the morning. And now we have a Netflix subscription.
I'm watching more slowly than he does, because he always likes to binge on shows. I'm also trying to find things to make it up to me for the fact that Netflix hides its subtitled anime away (and just doesn't seem to have much.) So far, I've come up with Buffy (and Angel.) I was hoping for DCAU, especially since I've seen very little of the animated Batman and Superman series, but no dice. Maybe this will help me get over my aversion to live-action TV.
It's not actually that I dislike live-action shows. It's just that all the ones I like from US TV get canceled the instant I view them, so I gave up.
